A Zund cutting table is a significant investment. Like all precision machinery it needs regular servicing, calibration and occasional repair to maintain performance and accuracy. Finding an engineer with genuine Zund experience – rather than a general machinery engineer who'll work it out as they go – makes a significant difference to both the quality of the work and the cost.

Routine Maintenance
Regular preventive maintenance keeps a Zund running reliably and extends its working life. This typically includes:

Calibration
Zund machines require periodic calibration to maintain cutting accuracy. This is particularly important after the machine has been moved, after a mechanical repair, or when cutting quality begins to deteriorate.

Servicing Older Zund Machines
Prior to the G3 were the PN series machines. Support for these has now been discontinued by the manufacturer and parts no longer available. An engineer with experience of older Zund platforms will know where to source parts and how to work around limitations that a less experienced engineer might not.
